Am I worthy to God's Love.......?

When the heart rebels and says, “I will reach out for love wherever it may be found,” and the mind echoes, “Yes, and I will not see,” and the conscience says, “I don’t care anymore,” then memory rises like a bright and redeeming sun and says, “yes, but you have been here before and the Lord saved you in the nick of time. The Lord comes himself if you ask just one more time. Remember?” and again it is memory that cries aloud, “the Lord is faithful and he will not abandon those who trust in him.” And the past is made present through memory’s alchemy. This saves us time and again, and we praise and thank God who gives us the past to make the present a wise and redemptive future.

Thoughtfullness

One day, a ten-year-old boy went to an ice cream shop, sat at a table and asked the waitress, "How much is an ice-cream cone?" She said, "seventy-five cents." The boy started counting the coins he had in his hand. Then he asked how much a small cup of ice-cream was. The waitress impatiently replied, "sixty five cents." The boy said, "I will have the small ice-cream cup." He had his ice-cream, paid the bill and left. When the waitress came to pick up the empty plate, she was touched. Underneath were ten cent coins as tip. Moral of the Story: The little boy had consideration for the waitress before he ordered his ice-crearn. He showed sensitivity and caring. He thought of others before himself. If we all thought like the little boy, we would have a great place to live. Show consideration, courtesy, and politeness. Thoughtfulness shows a caring attitude. Where Does the Time Go...

I always seem to have something to say, but I never sit down to type it out. Not that you all need to hear what I have to say, especially since you get to hear me Wednesday night and Sunday morning. God is doing amazing things here at the New Life Center. This past Sunday we started our new sermon series (pictured above) to a great response from the people. What great expectation that everyone had for this series and what great things God began to do in the NLC. This series has been a while in the making and finally came into being for such a time as this. To help me in this series, I've read a couple books. First, "Living in the Spirit," by George O. Wood. Second, "Forgotten God," by Francis Chan. Third, was a book written by a few different authors on how to help others recieve the baptism in the Holy Spirit. I've listened to some CD's from Tim Enloe on the baptism in the Spirit. Plus, reading and studying the scriptures. I'm looking for
